Countertops in the mountains
Working in the Carolina mountains
Most of what we install out here goes into a house at the end of a road that was not built for a truck. Gravel drives, switchbacks, a turnaround that is really somebody's yard — we template and install in it every week, and our crews plan the carry before they plan the cut. If you are worried your driveway is the problem, it almost certainly is not; tell us about it when you call and we will come look.
Lake houses
Lake Glenville houses tend to be open-plan with a big island and a lot of glass, which means the seam placement and the way the stone reads in daylight matter more than they do in a closed kitchen. We lay slabs out for the light the room actually gets, not the light in the yard.
Between bookings
A lot of Glenville owners are working around a booking calendar rather than around themselves. Tell us the gap you have and we will tell you honestly whether we can hit it — template to install usually runs about a week, and we would rather turn a date down than take one we cannot make.

We wanted to replace our counter tops and everyone suggested Murphy Granite outlet. We were not disappointed from the beginning to the install. Joel was our sales person and was very helpful and helped us thru the process.
Great selection, Awesome experience, the installer's Eric & Jacob did a fantastic job on the install! There were no issues from start to finish with the countertops. If you are in need of Granite countertops go see the staff at Murphy Granite.
Great customer service and the installation went beautifully. Their installers went above and beyond. Would highly recommend. I'm so very happy with our new countertops.
