Countertop Repair
Chips, cracks, open seams, dull spots, a top that has shifted or a sink that has dropped. We repair stone countertops, whoever installed them.
What we repair
- Chips. A chip at an edge or a sink cutout is the usual injury, and it is usually repairable.
- Cracks in the stone.
- Seams that have opened, lifted or cracked.
- Re-polishing a spot that has gone dull.
- Resealing natural stone that has stopped beading water.
- Re-setting a top that has come loose or shifted, and a sink that has come loose or dropped.
We did not install it? We will still look at it
It does not matter who put it in. Send us a photograph and we will tell you honestly whether it is worth repairing or whether you would be better off replacing it.

Sealing, and when it is due
- Granite, quartzite and marble are sealed at installation. Water should bead on the surface; when it stops beading it wants resealing — every one to three years, depending on the stone.
- Quartz is nonporous and never needs sealing.
- Marble etches where an acid sits on it. A dull, etched patch is a re-polishing job. Living with marble
