Yes, and we would rather you did. Come and walk the yard in Murphy — a slab in your hand tells you more than any sample chip or photograph. Inventory moves, so call ahead and we will have your candidates pulled and standing when you arrive.

Around 400 full slabs on the racks, more than 500 partial slabs, and over 800 remnants — the largest yard and selection in our service area. Partials and remnants are what make a vanity, a laundry top, or a bar top affordable, and almost nobody advertises them.

Possibly, and we cannot promise otherwise. Seams are a standard part of stone countertops, and where they fall is a saw-time decision — the layout of your job, the size of the slab, the run of the veining, access to your house, and crew safety all come into it. Our fabricators plan seam locations for strength, appearance, and pattern flow. Every seam stays visible and can be felt, and an exact pattern match across a seam cannot be guaranteed.

All base cabinets permanently installed, level, and fixed to the walls. Counter surfaces cleared where we measure. Any sink or cooktop you supplied on site for inspection. Farmhouse and apron sinks set in their final position, plumb and level — the plumbing does not need connecting, but the sink has to be where it will live.

Yes, unless we supplied it. We cut the opening to your actual sink, not to a specification sheet, and the two do not always agree.

Faucets, soap dispensers, and anything else needing a hole on site, ideally inside the sink cabinet. Old countertops cleared if we are removing them. Sink-base cabinets and any cabinet getting a cutout emptied. Pathways clear for carrying stone in.

No. We accept changes right up to the point of drafting the template, and then everything is final — the job usually goes into production the next day. It is worth having someone who knows the details there during templating, because what is decided at the template supersedes every earlier conversation.

No. We do not modify cabinets, reconnect plumbing, or do any electrical work. For a remodel it is worth booking your plumber and electrician when you book us.

For most kitchens, about a week from laser template to installed countertops. Your quote confirms the schedule for your project.

Straight away, with one caution: the sealer needs up to 48 hours to cure, so keep liquid off the surface for the first two days.

On any stone that is not white we use a clear caulk that goes on white and clears as it cures. It can take up to fourteen days. Nothing is wrong.

Some. Cutouts for cooktops and drop-in sinks are made with the stone in place, and cutting inside makes dust. If that is a concern, tell us and we will enclose the area. The sealers also have a strong smell, which is worth planning around if you are sensitive to it.

Our crew photographs finished work for quality control, training, and often social media. If you would rather we did not post pictures of your home, just say so and we will not.

Whichever is easiest: pay the installers on site by cash or check, come by the showroom for cash, check, or card, or pay by phone with a card. Card payments carry a 3.75% processing fee.

Every countertop that leaves our shop is sealed with a high-quality sealer. All natural stone is porous, so we recommend resealing every one to three years depending on the stone and how hard the kitchen works. We also offer a permanent-sealer upgrade if you would rather not think about it again.

A pH-neutral stone cleaner and a soft cloth. Never vinegar, lemon, bleach, or anything abrasive — they etch and dull the surface. Wipe spills as they happen, and use trivets and coasters. We recommend Stain-Proof Daily Countertop Cleaner, which is required if you take the permanent-sealer warranty.

Yes. Every slab varies in colour, texture, veining, pitting, and fissures, and some areas can feel gritty or show reflective spots. That is the stone, not a defect. Many slabs carry a fibreglass backer, and if minor chipping happens in transit our team repairs it with epoxy or resin before it reaches you.
