Fantasy Brown is the stone we have installed more of than any other, and it is a marble. Here is what that means in a kitchen.

Sold as quartzite, cut as marble
Fantasy Brown and Super White are sold across this trade as quartzites. They are dolomitic marbles: softer than a true quartzite, and they will etch where an acid sits on them. We still cut plenty of Fantasy Brown, and plenty of our customers love theirs. We would just rather you hear what these stones are from us first.

Living with marble
- Wipe up citrus, vinegar and wine as they happen. An acid left sitting on marble etches a dull mark.
- A pH-neutral stone cleaner and a soft cloth. Never vinegar, lemon, bleach, or anything abrasive — they etch and dull the surface.
- It is sealed at installation. When water stops beading on the surface, it wants resealing.
