A bit of Bryson City history
Bryson City, on the Tuckasegee River, was incorporated in 1887 as Charleston and renamed in 1889 for Thaddeus Dillard Bryson. The 1908 Swain County courthouse still stands downtown and now houses the Swain County Heritage Museum. Near town, also on the Tuckasegee, a mound marks Kituwah, which the Cherokee know as their mother town.

Gorgeous options to choose from, good installation and service
We love Western NC. The tradeoff is that some things are much harder to find than in a big city, or at least that there is far less selection. With that being said Murphy Granite Outlet is an exception to that.
Murphy Granite Outlet provided us an excellent experience with purchasing new countertops for our home. They were always on time with and kept us notified of their progress, scheduling times that were convenient for us.
