Kitchen and vanity together
Just over half of our Ellijay jobs included a bath or vanity. If yours does, bring the vanity measurements on your trip to the yard; a remnant from the rack is often all a vanity needs.
Between bookings
A lot of Ellijay owners are working around a booking calendar rather than around themselves. Tell us the gap you have and we will tell you honestly whether we can hit it — template to install usually runs about a week, and we would rather turn a date down than take one we cannot make.
New builds
A good part of our Ellijay work comes through builders and cabinet shops rather than direct, and we are comfortable in that lane — we will coordinate with your cabinet installer on timing, work off their drawings, and hold a template slot that moves with the job rather than against it.
Local history
A bit of Ellijay history
A Cherokee town and trading center stood where the Ellijay and Cartecay rivers meet to form the Coosawattee, and Ellijay grew up on that site. The name is thought to be Cherokee in origin, perhaps meaning "many waters" or "place of green things." Ellijay has been the Gilmer County seat since 1834, and rail service reached the town in 1884.

Gorgeous options to choose from, good installation and service
We love Western NC. The tradeoff is that some things are much harder to find than in a big city, or at least that there is far less selection. With that being said Murphy Granite Outlet is an exception to that.
Murphy Granite Outlet provided us an excellent experience with purchasing new countertops for our home. They were always on time with and kept us notified of their progress, scheduling times that were convenient for us.
