A bit of Blue Ridge history
Blue Ridge was incorporated in 1887 and grew with the Marietta and North Georgia Railroad, which brought visitors to the local mineral springs. The old Fannin County Courthouse on West Main Street was finished in 1937 as a New Deal public works project, after the one before it burned in 1936.

We love Western NC. The tradeoff is that some things are much harder to find than in a big city, or at least that there is far less selection. With that being said Murphy Granite Outlet is an exception to that.
