How to Pick Up at Murphy Granite Outlet, Your Natural Stone 

Pickup orders are typically small fabrication jobs under 20 sq ft. These orders receive a discount because templating and installation are not included.

Order Information

• Murphy Granite will fabricate countertops based strictly on the measurements or template provided by the customer. Which must include sink center, sink setback, back splash measurements, and faucet hole location and number needed. You may also provide a physical template.
• We do not verify measurements for pickup orders. Please double-check all measurements/templates before submitting your order.
• Homes are rarely perfectly square. Walls may not be perfectly straight, and corners may not be exactly 90 degrees. As a result, small gaps can form between the countertop and the wall. These gaps are usually covered by backsplash, trim, or caulking during installation.

Deposits & Payment

• A 50% deposit is required at the time the order is placed.
• The remaining balance is due at pickup.
• Credit card payments are subject to a 3.75% processing fee.

Fabrication Time

• Typical fabrication time is approximately 2 weeks.
• Pickup orders are worked into the shop schedule between larger installation jobs.
• Fabrication times may vary depending on shop workload.

Sink Information

• If you are providing your own sink, we must have the sink in our shop before fabrication begins.
• Standard sink setback is typically about 4 inches from the front edge of the countertop unless otherwise specified.
• We will need the sink center measurement. To determine this, measure from the side of the vanity to the center of the sink base cabinet. On Sink Base Cabinets with double doors, The Sink Center is usually where the 2 doors come together.
• In most cases, sinks are centered on the vanity, especially when there are cabinet doors below that need to open and close properly.

Sink Attachment

• We will attach the sink to the countertop unless the customer requests otherwise.
• If you prefer to attach the sink yourself, please let us know when placing the order.

Pickup Information

• We will call and/or text when your countertop is ready for pickup.
• Pickup hours are Monday through Friday between 9:30 AM  - 1 PM and 1:30 PM to 4:00 PM.
• Final payment is due at pickup.
• Please allow for approximately 30 minutes for us to prepare your countertop for pickup, as we clean the stone due to dust in the shop.

Transportation & Responsibility

• Murphy Granite may help load the countertop into your vehicle.
• Once the countertop is loaded into your vehicle, Murphy Granite is not responsible for damage during transport, handling, or installation.

Transporting Your Countertop

• We recommend transporting the countertop standing on its long edge, not lying flat.
• Place padding such as blankets, foam, or cardboard underneath the stone.
• Secure the countertop so it cannot move during transport.
• Larger pieces may require more than one person to safely unload and install.
